Start with the manga and once you get to the thousand year blood war arc start watching the anime and don’t read the manga for it but for all the other arcs, besides the filler arcs watch Bleach anime. There’s 202 cannon episodes for Bleach and 164 filler episodes.

   • both feel like an adventure. Despite the utter trash the manga was in the end, I'd still recommend the Bleach anime at least. That was really well made with great fights and soundtracks and the anime doesn't adapt the dreadful final arc at least. I also enjoyed Bleach fillers (unlike Naruto fillers).
