What is the difference between Microsoft Xbox Series S and Sony PlayStation 2? Find out which is better and their overall performance in the game console ranking.
PS5 is connected via HDMI, and PS2 is connected via Component. The PS2 looks decent on the 4K TV (better than I expected). I bought a wireless controller, and it's been great. The only downside of the PS2: Loading times and Memory Card read/write operations.
Xbox works seamlessly with any headset. Xbox auto-sync and cloud save features, especially between generations, just works. No effort required on the part of the user, unlike PlayStation. I prefer the Xbox UI and features. All that said, PS does have one redeeming quality that I prefer over Xbox.
The Dualsense controller is far superior than the Xbox controller (I own both, and the Xbox controllers are already very good!). Sony's exclusive games (like Forbidden West). PSVR2 and PSVR1. Xbox doesn't even have VR. Storage of PS5 can be extended using cheap, off-the-shelf NVMe.
