  1. Nov 14, 2020 · I have noticed that my Weather widget is showing me the wrong location, and the problem is that I can't change it. I have tried to open the Edit Widget when right-clicking, it opens the window, but when I click on the Location nothing happens and I can't change the location to a different city.

  3. Mar 23, 2019 · The widget appears to be working correctly, but clicking on the widget gives a blank screen. Is there any way to debug this and find out what's causing the problem? (I do say that on my other MacBook Pro (14", M1, 2021), the Weather app is working fine)

    You can check the weather conditions for a location, including the hourly forecast, 10-day forecast, severe weather alerts, and more.

    Note: Severe weather alerts aren’t available in all countries or regions.

    In the Weather app on your Mac, view any of the following:

    •Hourly forecast: To view the forecast for the next 24 hours, swipe left or right with two fingers on a trackpad or one finger on a mouse.

    In the Weather app on your Mac, do any of the following:

    •View a new location: Enter a location in the search field, then select the location you want to view.

    By default, weather data is displayed with the units from your Language & Region settings. You can choose other units, such as Celsius or Fahrenheit for temperature, or units like miles per hour, kilometers per hour, or Beaufort for wind.

    1.In the Weather app on your Mac, choose Weather > Settings.

    2.Click the Units pane, then do any of the following:

    •Change temperature units: Choose Fahrenheit, Celsius, or the default units based on your Language & Region settings.

    You can also quickly switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius from the View menu in the Weather app.

    •Change wind, precipitation, pressure, or distance units: Click the pop-up menus and choose your preferred units.

  4. Jul 2, 2021 · Had this exact problem. Try toggling the checkbox. The warning went away for me after I did that. If not, try re-setting your Weather widget then toggle the checkbox for the Weather app again.
