   • Fuel pump leaks oil from the o-ring and drips down the bell housing so it is possible to leak oil. Usually the rear main seal is responsible. Good luck. I should have noted that I have the DCT transmission, which I have actually I had in for service as well with the "shudder" that a lot of other people have experienced.

   • If oil on a Peugeot Puretech petrol is getting dirty I would be concerned that the known cam belt issue is waiting to bite you. Its not like years ago when oil was crap, petrol was crap and overuse use of the manual choke contaminated the oil. Not had dirty oil out of a petrol since the 80's.

   Does 2015 Peugeot 208 have oil warning light?

   • 2015 Peugeot 208 - oil warning light came on - oil was low but not empty, however surprisingly low considering a full service was done in February and has been done every year since 2015. Oil topped up and didn't get rid of the red oil warning light or the stop warning light. Got taken to a garage and the oil pump has gone.

   Sep 17, 2023 · The small bolt and long bolt on the vacuum pump should be tightened to 5nm then to 18nm and for the long bolt should then be tightened to 20nm I would also say take the time to clean the mating surface on the engine side and use some suitable engine parts cleaner which is safe on aluminium.
