THE BIBLE DESCRIBES HOPE (“CONFIDENT EXPECTATION” AS: DOOR (Hosea 2:15) - Hope is a door for escaping present troubles and entering a brighter path. ANCHOR (Hebrews 6:19) - Hopes give a reference point for our lives and causes us to live differently in order to receive the hoped-for reward (1 John 3:2-3; Hebrews 6:18; Titus 2:11-12).
The Christian hope is based on the resurrection of Jesus Christ and in God's promise to resurrect all who believe in Jesus (1 Corinthians 15:19–23). It is the hope of forgiveness of sins (Colossians 1:13–14). It is the hope of a heavenly home (Hebrews 11:16).
