I've heard complaints that it's too short for a $60 game, but the full price has been reduced to $40, and there are monthly discounts on Steam when you can get it for $16, so I think the "overpriced" argument isn't valid anymore.
My experience playing them though was that I loved RE2make but actually slightly preferred RE3make. My playthrough of RE2make lasted 7 hours while my playthrough of RE3make was 5 hours, 50 mins, so I didn’t really see that much reason for the playtime being criticized for RE3make.

Apr 4, 2021 · Personally I believe it would have been too much worse to create all those new assets from scratch. That’s a massive failure in terms of being a remake. Here, you could argue that judging by its own merits you can’t fault the 2020 game for that absence.
Why the RE3make critical reviews? Forum question. Other than the average length of the main campaign relative to the original price, and maybe the totally sacrilegious redesign of Jill, why do people hate on RE3make?
