Think some of the reviews have nailed it. RE2 remake was a bit slower, built a bit more tension and you spent longer in areas finding/solving stuff, unlocking new areas. Really can’t remember a single puzzle in RE3 and you never spend long anywhere.

I honestly enjoyed but I definitely understand why it gets the criticism it gets, though I feel some people were a little too harsh on it. The main problems I had with it is that it was too short and felt like they cut way too much that was in the original.
