At this point in the books, Harry is terrified because Voldemort is back, the only place he is safe is the Dursley’s house which is why he can’t/doesn’t leave until Dumbledore comes to get him. Harry wouldn’t just be walking around a train station by himself, it makes no sense!
I can think of features of the house like the wallpapered walls and heavy dark curtains to how Aunt Petunia was dying clothing in a huge pot in the first movie and decorating a 50’s looking styled cake that falls on the guest in the second movie.
