Nov 29, 2021 · My system has been having short term (5 - 30 secs) hangs (freezes) where the mouse is responsive but the screen apps do not respond immediately, then all at once catch up. What you posted seems mostly related to long term freezes and freezes during boot.
Jul 11, 2022 · The screen freeze may or may not indicate a full system freeze. Please try sudo dnf upgrade followed by sudo dnf distrosync and see what the result is. After doing the above, please post the output of inxi -Fzx so we can see the full system specs.
Jan 11, 2023 · I'm using Fedora 37 with Nvidia proprietary drivers. System freezes frequently, sometimes in couple of hours. If I'm at the computer by the time of the crash I can catch the full behavior that is always same -- first mouse movement becomes slow then if stops moving at all.
Dec 30, 2022 · My problem is that while using fedora 37 (write code, switch from app to app, switch between chrom tabs, even simple ctrl+c) can cause the system to completely freeze, the cooler will start to make a lot of noise as if my laptop is preparing to take off.
Feb 10, 2024 · My problem is that every few hours my system either completely freezes, or I still can move the mouse around the screen but cannot do anything else. I cannot Ctrl-Alt-F* do drop to a console or anything like that, the only solution is to reboot.
Sep 26, 2022 · I still have the issue on Fedora 37 using 6.0.8 at the moment. Every now and then, the top 5 or so lines just flicker in random colours. The issue exists only on the internal screen, not only any external monitors, and it cannot be captured with screen capture software.

I'm having random freezes on Fedora 34, as in, the system completely freezes up and becomes unresponsive. No mouse/keyboard input, so I can't access tty to try and fix it, the only solution is a hard reboot.
