Not only does it undermine its excellent story, but it also makes the series less accessible for deaf viewers. As a result, Daredevil's move from Netflix to Disney+ has wound upbeing rather disastrous.

I’m rewatching the ex-Netflix series and noticed that the translation subtitles have been removed, is it like this everywhere now? Definitely missing out on the full story when you can’t remember what they’re saying in Japanese.
I’m watching episode 4 of season 1 on Disney+ on my computer and there are these long conversations between the two Russian men (sorry I haven’t quite caught their names yet) with no subtitles or captions.
