May 12, 2014 · Why do you love maths so much? It’s a really hard question to answer - if you asked someone why they like music or football, they’d probably shrug and say ‘I just do!’.
A short answer, but I love mathematics because of the unexpectedly creative thinking it requires to prove theorems and solve problems. Also, I love making arguments about numbers and space and quantity while having nuance in the langauge I use.
The actual answer is "because when you say you love maths, people are impressed". Any other answer is going to be kidding yourself. So, just love it and enjoy it 🙂 don't ask why.
