I bought the first four books immediately after watching season 2 and I am so glad I did. As another former wallflower type I relate to Penelope so much. Her book (4) is so far one of my faves, I love how the relationship with Colin develops and how he actually starts to see her.
I love how much need Colin felt for Penelope during those scenes and how she became perfect in his eyes. I also loved how protective he became toward her. If we don’t get the carriage scene, we riot!

I am hoping it will be like Anthony in season 2, where we learn much more about each of them and their friendship. Their love for each other is so strong, they’re much more like sisters to each other compared to their actual sisters and I find it very touching.
