Nov 23, 2016 · At the end of the Dwapara Yuga, Jaya and Vijaya took their third birth as Sisupala and Dantavakra and Vishnu appeared as Krishna along with Balarama and yet again killed them. So as they shifted from one life to another, they moved nearer to God – finally going back to Vaikuntha.

This birth was special for Jaya and Vijaya. According to Rūpa Goswāmī’s Laghu-bhāgavatāmṛta (1.5.41–64), the order of births in which Jaya and Vijaya were killed is significant. In their first birth as Hiraṇyākṣa and Hiraṇyakaśipu, they did not realize that Varāha and Nṛsiṁha were Vishnu.
