Seriously caught me off guard, I thought Torgeir was just going to make light of it all, but he totally just took the story to a different level. Truly, imo, from that moment on this show became Lilyhammer: A Torgier Story.
Jan 17, 2017 · Why was Lilyhammer canceled? Unlike some of Netflix’s other cancellations, money wasn’t the whole factor as to why Lilyhammer was canned. Having now watched all three seasons over again, something was simply missing from season 3 and frankly, it jumped the shark.
Hammer appears to Torgeir while he's involved with Birgitte, eventually leading to some problems between the two especially now that Birgitte found she was pregnant with Torgeir's child. This eventually leads to total dissociation from Torgeir, hallucinating that he himself is Hammer.
