Nov 11, 2022 · You have to give it alot of rudder or you will spin wildly out of control. It works the same way in X-plane as well. Once you get off the ground (giving it alot of rudder to control you spin) and point the nose down and get some forward momentum it will settle down.

Dec 31, 2007 · One of the common things that can cause a heli to spin out of control, is to have the gyro sense reversed. There are two reverse controls for the tail. First is the Tx reverse which reverses what the stick tells teh tail to do.
In short, if you enter an autorotation in a helicopter, you immediately apply pedal to flatten the pitch of the tail rotor blades because there is no longer any torque to counteract. If you don't do this, the helicopter will spin due to thrust generated by the tail rotor itself.

The spin is caused by the torque of the spinning rotor. You could fix that with another similarly sized rotor spinning in the opposite direction which cancels out the torque or a smaller rotor spinning pointing sideways to resist that torque like in a conventional helicopter.

Nov 11, 2022 · Tried flying helicopters but as soon as I lift off my heli starts to wobble around and spin out of control and crashes just a moment after. What am I doing wrong? I’m using X-56 throttle and stick to fly, it works fine with other aircraft.
