We are a friendly church in the village of Penshaw and welcome everyone to: Our Lady Queen of Peace. Station Road. Penshaw. Tyne and Wear. DH4 7JZ. Our Sunday Mass is at 10am every week and other services are listed in the weekly Newsletter. There is a car park adjoing the church.
The three Washington churches became a cluster in 2002 and eventually amalgamated with our Lady Queen of Peace which covers the area of Penshaw and Shiney Row. The four churches became a single parish and took the name of St John XXlll at 10 am on 27 April 2014 when Pope Francis canonised Pope John XXIII & Pope John Paul II.
