Des'ree wrote this song with Ashley Ingram of the British band Imagination. This was used in the 1994 Hilary Swank movie The Next Karate Kid. It also shows up in the films The Object of My Affection (1998) and Captain Marvel (2019). This was the only US hit for Des'ree, who was born Desiree Weeks.
