A beautifully written book, which packs so much emotional damage and with an outstanding world-building, all based around Scotland and the selkie myth, but taking some of the stories and giving them a new meaning.

  4. Chris Wraight is consistently one of Black Library’s best. That said, part of me suspects that he has had the story idea for ‘Sea of Souls’ for sometime and has been waiting for an opportunity to write it. They approached him to contribute to the series with maybe a loose idea of their own.
