Kaze Hikaru (Japanese: 風光る)[a] is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Taeko Watanabe. Set in the bakumatsu period, the story follows Tominaga Sei, a young girl who poses as a boy named Kamiya Seizaburō so she can join the Mibu-Roshi (Special Police; later known as the Shinsengumi).
