Set following the intro to 2012's Ted, the series follows the early life of a talking teddy bear named Ted in 1993. Ted lives with a teenaged John Bennett and his family in Massachusetts. The Bennett household includes John's dad Matty, his mom Susan and his cousin Blaire, who is staying with them for college.
This isn't a full Timeline of events, just the episodes which actually play a part in Ted meeting The Mother. This means that stuff like Marshall and Lily's breakup, or Robin dating Don, or Barney meeting his dad won't be mentioned as Ted probably still would have met The Mother if those events didn't happen.
