Ted Chiang Ted Chiang is an award-winning writer of science fiction. He has won numerous awards including three Hugos, three Locuses, four Nebulas, a Sturgeon Award, and the John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer. Chiang is a graduate of the Clarion Writers Workshop, and holds a degree in computer science from Brown University.
