Weston Price was an odd duck. He would do studies in the early 20th century where he'd take a shaving of a root canalled tooth and implant it in a rabbit's belly. Within two weeks the rabbits would exhibit symptoms of chronic illness and die.
The documentary would have you believe that root canals readily allow bad bacterium to enter the rest of the body, leading directly to cancer, atherosclerosis, and a host of other diseases. However, this is based on research done by Dr. Weston Price—in the 1920s.
