Oct 3, 2020 · In October/2019, I did my first consultation with Dr. Alfaro in Barcelona to discuss the surgery. My main concerns were some snap/cracks that I had when opening my mouth, the difficult to see my teeth when I tried to smile, and also I wished to revert my teeth inclination (and I explicitly mentioned that to the doctor several times).

The biggest problem with my Alfaro surgery was that I was left with a canted bite and large mid-line deviation. I would show him these photos and ask him if he thinks the bite is canted and should be corrected during surgery.
Ive been reading several threads about Dr. Alfaro and it worries me that most have lots of deleted posts. Anyone here that has actually undergone surgery with him? Would be wonderful if I could contact you directly to ask any questions if it’s alright without the risk of getting posts deleted.

Jul 26, 2021 · Alfaro recommended me an orthodontist and on my first consultation told me it would take me around 8 months to align my teeth for surgery, which turned out to be true. However this may definitely not be the same for you.
