After he helps save Hell's Kitchen, Daredevil, still in his mask, gives himself up to police custody, stating that he wants to stand trial for his crimes but will only do so on the condition his identity is never revealed. He voluntarily confesses to the killing and is sentenced to a prison term.
As an adult, he became a lawyer and opened a law firm with Foggy Nelson while secretly taking on the mantle of Daredevil in order to protect the citizens of Hell's Kitchen and bring justice to the streets as well as the courtroom.

Jan 26, 2024 · His father, “Battling Jack” Murdock, was a boxer who raised Matt alone after his mother left them. Matt took up boxing himself but urged his father to get out of the corrupt business. When Jack refused to throw a fight, he was killed by gangsters. This spurred Matt to dedicate his life to justice.
