Lizzy Caplan - Wikipedia. Elizabeth Anne Caplan (born June 30, 1982) is an American actress. Her first acting role was on the television series Freaks and Geeks (1999–2000). She received wider recognition with roles in the films Mean Girls (2004) and Cloverfield (2008).
Lindsay Weir, played by the American actress Linda Cardellini, is the elder of the two Weir siblings and serves as the protagonist of the series Freaks and Geeks. In the show, she was a precocious teen who had a strong bond with her friend Millie Kentner.
Linda was cast in her first role, on the series Bone Chillers (1996). Her breakthrough part came when she was cast in Freaks and Geeks (1999) . She played academic decathlete Lindsay Weir on the celebrated series, which won an Emmy Award in the Category of "Outstanding Casting for a Comedy Series".
