I'm a strong person except when it comes to this show apparently. I knew they wouldn't kill off a major character in the first 5 minutes and was still scared for Glenn!
His little episode arc and it's morbid conclusion were my first introduction to his acting, and he went on to play The Penguin in "Gotham" and absolutely nailed it. The look of horrified realization on Rick and Sam's faces as they make eye contact and recognize each other just before Sam is executed gives me chills.
Played straight. Judith is put in danger, but is rescued by Tyreese before Martin has a chance to do anything else. It's also implied that the people of Terminus had previously averted this trope.
