Edgar the Bug (or just The Bug) is a Bug alien and the main antagonist of the first Men in Black film. His appearance is that of a giant cockroach though while on earth, he adopts the disguise of a human farmer.
He is best known for his roles as Detective Robert Goren in the television series Law & Order: Criminal Intent and as Private Lenoard "Gomer Pyle" Lawrence in the film Full Metal Jacket. In the original film, D'Onofrio portrayed Edgar and Edgar the Bug.
