Hey everyone, so I've watched the entirety of C1 and 50 episodes of the second one. And I'm very confused as to why the cast finds Fresh Cut Grass' name so funny. Is it a joke from Campaign 2, or is it a recurring joke throughout the campaigns that I seem to have missed?
Oct 27, 2021 · Upon waking up late in the Krook House, Ashton (he/they, played by Taliesin Jaffe), a punk earth genasi barbarian, meets with Fresh Cut Grass (he/they, played by Sam Riegel), a cheerful automaton cleric. The two have only known each other for a few weeks but are enjoying the new friendship.
We are then introduced to Ashton, Taliesin's Earth Genasi Barbarian, and his recently acquainted companion Fresh Cut Grass, Sam's Automaton Cleric. The pair have been staying in a slum at the city centre, from where they set off in search of mercenary work.
He played Fresh Cut Grass and currently plays Braius Doomseed in Campaign Three. In previous campaigns, Sam played Scanlan Shorthalt , Taryon Darrington and Veth Brenatto . He has also been the Dungeon Master for several special episodes .
Fluff. In the movie, a character casts a small spell to produce the smell of fresh cut grass. It's either a reference to FCG or a massive coincidence. It's a wonderful nod to CR that will likely pass by most viewers but immediately stands out to CR fans.
