Tyreese didn’t kill Martin because he couldn’t, he lied to Carol so she wouldn’t kill him herself, but I think Tyreese thought the Termites would just leave and never be seen again. I think him having to live with not killing Martin and that exact thing being the reason Bob lost his leg was part of the story of Tyreese.

Martin is an antagonist and a survivor of the outbreak in AMC's The Walking Dead. He is a member of the Hunters and served as one of the two secondary antagonists for the first half of Season 5 (along with O'Donnell).
Location Unknown
Nothing is known about Martin's life prior to or as the outbreak began. It is possible he is from Michigan as evidence of wearing a Detroit Tiger's hat. Though he stated that he would often watch football on Sundays and attended church regularly.
At some point following the outbreak, Martin arrived at the safe haven known as Terminus and joined the survivors residing there. It is unknown if he arrived before the hostile group of bandits came and took over the sanctuary and accepted cannibalism as a means of survival after the group was able to reclaim their compound or arrived following the...

After surrendering in the church, Gareth tries getting Rick to spare them, but Rick refuses and starts to hack at Gareth with his machete.
Martin tries to escape only to be pushed against the altar rail by Sasha, who proceeds to brutally stab him several times in the chest and at least one time in the neck with a knife.

Anybody remember Martin? This guy is probably one of the most memorable smaller villains of the show from a few years ago. He had zero humanity in him, considering he was willing to murder baby Judith without hesitation or remorse whatsoever.
