    Is the Star Over Bethlehem a prophecy?

    • @bruisedreed true, you could sorta make it seem as if it was a prophecy regarding the star over Bethlehem. But since "star" is capitalized, and since a ball of burning gas in the sky can't have Jacob as an ancestor, this verse is talking about Jesus, the Messiah. The capitalization is a translation choice - it is not capitalized in other versions.
