The fight against The Butcher is a single-phase, single-target encounter, highly reminiscent of the Patchwerk encounter in Naxxramas. It will put a lot of strain on your tanks and healers, but it also requires accurate execution from your DPS players.

The Butcher is the 2nd boss in the Highmaul raid in World of Warcraft. You will encounter The Butcher after defeating Kargath Bladefist. Whilst it is possible to take on the Pigs and the Butcher at the same time, if you don't know what you're doing then its best to take them on separately. Feb 8, 2015 · Kargath Bladefist must be killed first, after which your raid can choose to kill The Butcher, Tectus, and Brackenspore in any order, or simply to skip all three of them and move on straight to the Twin Ogron.
