Overview. St Julian’s School holds true to its mission ‘A school for all, where everyone succeeds’. It is a highly inclusive community where staff focus wholeheartedly on pupils’ personal and academic development. There is a strong sense of teamwork and mutual respect in the school.
As with every school, our structure has a Headteacher who is responsible for the entire school, then other teachers and members of staff with specific roles. Below is our structured Senior Leadership Team and Progress Leaders.
At St. Julian’s, we ensure that high quality teacher-student relationships are developed through training, coaching, observation and feedback. The Head of Learning Support regularly visits classrooms to observe students’ progress and to support teachers with SEND provision.
At St Julian’s we ensure that a broad and balanced curriculum is provided for our students, incorporating English, maths and science alongside foundation and vocational subjects with personal, social and ethical studies also being central to our provision.
We currently serve a Portuguese and international community composed of over 60 nationalities. Our students are aged 3 to 18, and we are a non-selective school. In the British international section, we offer the National Curriculum for England, leading to IGCSEs.
