Springfield Brewing Company (known by many simply as the “BrewCo” or “SBC”) has been in the business of brewing world class beers since 1997. Our story began when the Paul Mueller Company purchased the original building to create a showcase for their stainless-steel brewery tanks.
Our two-story building, at the 300 block of Market Street in Downtown Springfield, was built in 1910 by Job Newton, a prominent local business man, who occupied it until 1924 as the Newton Grain Company.

We are located at 305 South Market Avenue in downtown Springfield, Missouri at the corner of Walnut Street and Market Avenue. Parking is available in the lot south of our building or in the free public parking garage directly northeast of our building

Our brewery is one-of-a-kind as it’s the only brewery in Springfield that offers tank to tap freshness. Each beer that is poured comes from one of our 15 barrel serving tanks, unlike most brewery tap rooms that utilize kegs to dispense their product.
