Dec 22, 2021 · As fans have been so connected to the Harry Potter franchise, they have been keeping up with what the cast has been doing over the years. While many of them have continued acting, some careers have taken a turn. Here's a look at what the cast of Harry Potter is doing as of 2024.

- Maggie Smith (Minerva McGonagall) Perhaps one of the biggest stars of the Harry Potter cast, Dame Maggie Smith needs no introduction. Before appearing on the big screens as professor Minerva McGonagall, Smith had a seemingly-endless list of roles on stage, film, and television.
- Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) While the rest of the cast had some kind of acting gig before landing a role in Harry Potter, Evanna Lynch had no experience in the field prior being cast as Luna Lovegood at all.
- Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) One part of the main trio, Hermione Granger was brought to life by Emma Watson when she was only eleven. Just like Radcliffe, Watson spent ten years working on the Potter films that brought her popularity and international recognition.
- Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom) Matthew Lewis stunned everyone with his incredible 'glow-up' as the Harry Potter films were ending as he looked nothing like the kid that we all watched at the beginning of the series.
- Daniel Radcliffe – AKA Harry Potter. Although he hasn’t played in any new blockbuster franchise since the end of the saga, Daniel has certainly kept very busy, and his choice of movies have been quite varied and often intense.
- Emma Watson AKA Hermione Granger. Emma Watson didn’t let the end of the beloved franchise stop her from spreading her wings. Since then, she’s played a wide range of roles, from a West Coast spoiled brat in Bling Ring, to a quirky teenage misfit in The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
- Rupert Grint AKA Ron Weasley. Rupert might have been the most discreet of the famous trio, but he’s kept just as busy himself. The charming young actor has played in various indie films this past decade, such as the World War II movie, Into The White and Macbeth adaptation, Enemy of Man.
- Tom Felton AKA Draco Malfoy. Not only is Tom Felton becoming a Hollywood heartthrob by the day, he’s also been one of the busiest members of the cast.
