Reign (as a dark personality of Samantha Arias and later as a separate physical being) is the second female Arrowverse main antagonist (after Astra), the second who is from Krypton (after Astra) and the first female main antagonist of Supergirl who originates from the comics.
Reign is on the head of the CatCo building, where she acquaints herself with Supergirl. After of talking, the two start battling. Kara and Reign's battle overflows into a structure, where the two interfere with a Christmas party.

They were assisted by the Legion of Super Heroes, time travelers from the 31st Century (Supergirl season 3). Reign ultimately attempted to terraform Earth, turning it into a New Krypton, but she was successfully defeated (Supergirl season 3, episode 23).
