The grand final will air on Saturday 6 April from 8.40pm on ITV and STV. It’s a single show and the results will be revealed in the same episode. All four coaches will each perform a duet with their chosen finalist, but this year’s winner will be decided by the votes of the viewing public.
The winner will be given a record contract with Polydor records, the British arm of Universal Music Group. Current artists signed to the record label in the UK include Black Eyed Peas, Demi Lovato, Eminem, Maroon Five, Lady Gaga and Madonna.
Molly Hocking is odds on to win, with betting odds of 1/1 (at the time of writing). The 18-year-old from Cornwallis the youngest singer in the competition. Jimmy Balito
Age: 23 Jimmy gave an emotional performance at this weekend’s semi-final following the death of his father, winning praise from the judges. Hudson said: “I learned that the best way to honour your family is to do the best that you can. Your father is extremely proud of you.”
Molly Hocking
Age: 18 Molly lives in St Ives, Cornwall and has performed regularly at festivals and open mic nights before appearing on the show. She appeared on The X Factorin 2017, getting through to the bootcamp stage.
Bethzienna Williams
Age: 28 The actor, songwriter and dancer has previously appeared in TV series Skins, Casualty, Warren and Our Girl, as well as The Assassination of Katie Hopkinson stage. She has a bachelor’s degree in acting from the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London.
Deana Walmsley
Age: 23 The singer-songwriter from Liverpool who plays the guitar has received coaching from Tom Arthur as well as Tom Jones this series. She first impressed the judges with her rendition of Amy Winehouse’s “Back to Black” during the blind auditions back in January.
