Dr. Isidore Latham is the Head of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Gaffney Chicago Medical Center. He is portrayed by Ato Essandoh.
Latham is an Orthodox Jew. He is autistic. His special interests seem to be music, medicine and film-making.
Latham joins Gaffney Chicago Medical Center as the Head of Cardiothoracic Surgery after Dr. David Downey's passing. He takes Connor Rhodes and Ava Bekker under his wing as fellows.

Dr. Latham deals with the fallout of Cornelius Rhodes' suspicious death. When he reveals that the insulin used to kill Connor's father can be traced to Dr. Bekker, she kills herself by slashing her carotid artery with a scalpel. Latham and Connor attempt to save her, but she dies on the operating table. When Connor decides to leave Chicago, Latham tells him in a rare moment of affection that he is sad to be losing a friend.
