Feb 13, 2024 · My records have Michael Christian Goodnight as the son of Hans Michael Goodnight (Gutknecht) (1721-1781) and his first wife, Mary Barbara Fiscus (1725-1761). Mary Barbara died after birthing at least six children, and Hans promptly married his oldest daughter's sister-in-law, Mary Landis, and they had even more kids.
