―Lexy to Jake after he tries to run away.

One day at school, Lexy and Junior see Jake carrying a Good Guy doll. She takes a photo, then asks Jake what he plans to do with the doll. When Jake tells them he is planning on selling it, Lexy says that she didn't realize his money situation had gotten so bad that he needed to sell his things. The conversation quickly ends after the bell rings, and they leave to go to class. While in Science class, all of the students are sent a text message for a fake GoFundMe Lexy set up for Jake, causing them to laugh at him. The bell rings and the students disperse, but Lexy is stopped by Miss Fairchild who asks her to take the page down. She also writes Lexy a slip for detention, but she simply remarks that what she is doing is admirable, and if she is penalized in any way her parents will sue the school. Miss Fairchild exits the room to get the principal, and while waiting Lexy uses her iPhone to fix her lipstick. She becomes startled after hearing Chucky laugh and seeing him standing at the doorway, dropping her phone under Miss Fairchild's desk. Before anything happens, Miss Fairchild and the principal re-enter the classroom. Still shaken, Lexy tells them that she will take the page down and leaves in a hurry.

That night, Lexy is hosting the school's talent show. She greets the audience and her family, as well as Devon and his mother. She then asks Jake what he thought of Devon's performance, trying to expose his feelings before being interrupted by Chucky. Taking the doll to the stage for an impromptu performance, Jake pretends to do a ventriloquism act as Chucky reads off messages from Lexy's phone. Chucky notes that Lexy has plenty of pictures of Oliver on her phone, and reads off her search history, including such things as her being "Botox curious", being into "Pokémon porn", and she repeatedly Googles "why do my farts smell so good". Furious, Lexy snatches her phone back from Chucky and storms off the stage.

The next day, Lexy is still furious over Jake's performance and is upset that they didn't suspend him. She walks to class with Junior, where they discuss going to Oliver's Halloween party. Junior asks what Lexy is dressing up as, but she simply says it's a surprise. Later at night, her parents gush over Caroline's drawing of Chucky which irritates her. She states that her parents have no idea of what is going on with her, and that Jake is bullying her. She goes to leave for Oliver's party, but is stopped by Michelle who tells her she has to take Caroline trick-or-treating. Instead, she takes her little sister to the party and lets her stay downstairs while she goes upstairs to smoke weed. Junior finds her alone in one of the bedrooms, and the two start making out on the bed. Lexy tries to have sex with Junior, but becomes frustrated as he has no idea what he is doing and the two go downstairs. Finally, Lexy puts on her costume, which is of Jake's father Lucas while she acts out him being electrocuted to death. Everyone at the party surrounds her and cheers her on, as Jake can do nothing but watch in anger.

The following day, Lexy goes for a run and then is visited by Junior. He reprimands her for going too far with Jake, and tells her he needs to apologize. She simply laughs and says there is no way she will apologize, and heads back inside her house only to hear Caroline screaming that she wants Chucky. For her sister, Lexy decides to visit the Wheeler house and to speak with Jake. She reluctantly apologizes for her Halloween costume, and after completing her "act of charity", asks him for his Chucky doll. Jake refuses and tells her she can never have him, causing her to angrily storm off. However, in a sudden change of heart, Jake goes to Lexy's house and delivers his doll to Caroline. Later in the day, Lexy throws a party at her house as her parents are gone for the evening. After putting Caroline to bed, she gives everyone headphones to listen to her playlist and have a silent party. She flirts with Oliver throughout the evening, as they dance and take selfies together. When Lexy's favourite song comes on, she drags Junior to the living room and they finally share a dance together. She leaves Junior to dance with the others as she goes upstairs to her room to smoke some pot. While smoking, she spots Chucky's shoes under her curtain and goes to investigate, allowing Chucky to jump on her back. He attempts to strangle her with her necklace as she frantically tries to get him off. She drops her blunt on the ground, inadvertently setting the room and house on fire. After throwing Chucky over her head, she is forced into a corner as he slowly approaches her with his knife. But he is unable to kill her, and she escapes the house unharmed.

The fire resulted in many of the party guests end up at the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation, including Lexy's sister Caroline. She meets up with Jake, who reveals to her that he was aware that Chucky is alive. He also tells her he was the one who told Chucky to come after her, and because she did not see him die in the fire, he is most likely still alive and will continue to come after her. When she tries to tell her parents about Chucky, Jake warns her that no one will believe her. She tells Jake to leave her alone and goes back into Caroline's room, until the nurse asks her and her parents to leave so they can check Caroline's oxygen. Once outside, Michelle scolds Lexy as she and Nathan believe Lexy was responsible for causing Caroline's injuries, their historical house to be partially destroyed, and Oliver's death.

Now understanding that she has to work with Jake, Lexy finds him in the hallway and the two return to the Cross house to see if Chucky is still there. They make their way up the stairs, and Lexy asks Jake if things between them really got so bad that he wanted her to die. Jake finally explodes at her, retorting that she is a bad person and he did want to kill her because she deserved it. This causes Lexy to back away and inadvertently fall off the balcony. As Jake holds onto her hand preventing her from falling, a half-burned Chucky finally reveals himself and attempts to convince Jake to let go of Lexy. However, Jake insists that he is not a killer and slowly pulls Lexy up as Chucky tries to stab her from below. Just then, Detective Peyton arrives at the house causing Chucky to hide his knife and go back into "doll mode". As he was asked by Lexy's father to get the doll for Caroline, he takes Chucky with him and orders the kids to get in his police car. Once they arrive back at the hospital, he locks them in the car and leaves with the doll. Eventually Detective Evans lets them out, and Lexy runs into the hospital to look for Chucky. She runs into Devon, who explains to her the urban legend of a serial killer named Charles Lee Ray transferring his soul into a doll. In return she explains that Jake's doll is in fact Chucky and is trying to kill them. Suddenly, an alarm sounds off as Caroline's oxygen is unplugged. They all run to Caroline's room to find Detective Peyton's corpse, and Lexy is shocked to see Chucky giving her, Jake and Devon the middle finger.

After all that had happened to her, Lexy decides to drown her unprocessed trauma with drugs, specifically her mother's Clonazepam prescription. While making out with a boy named Tommy, her phone begins to ring. She declines to answer and instead decides to make her first time special, doing a bump of crushed Clonazepam. Immediately after snorting the drugs, the cops burst into her bedroom and clear the house. They tell Lexy that they heard there was a break-in, and that Devon reported trouble at her house. This prompts Lexy to look at her phone and see a series of texts from Jake that tell her that Chucky is back. She questions Caroline and learns that she let in a two-foot tall man inside as he had to use the restroom. Lexy berates Caroline and tells her never to let any stranger in the house, even if they say it is an emergency. She asks the cops to stay until her parents get home.

The following day at family therapy, Lexy half-heartedly tries to convince Caroline that her deceased boyfriend Junior was behind the Hackensack Theatre Massacre, though Caroline remains unconvinced. The therapist, Dr. Mixter, gifts Caroline a Wedding Belle doll to help her get over her fear of dolls. That night, as Lexy puts Caroline to bed, she tells her sister that her mother and the therapist are "full of shit", that Chucky is real, and to never trust a doll. To further her point, she repeatedly bashes the Wedding Belle doll against the ground, then ties it to a chair and gives Caroline a knife for protection.

Later, Jake and Devon arrive at her house to look for Chucky. Jake chastises her for self-medicating her anxiety with drugs, but he isn't going to judge her so long as it's "just weed". At that moment, she excuses herself to the restroom where she grinds up two Clonazepam pills. Downstairs, Devon, Jake, Caroline, Jake's foster brother Gary, and Chucky are on the couch, with the doll holding a bomb made from fertilizer and butane. He tells the group that as soon as Lexy comes downstairs, he's going to kill them all. Back upstairs, Lexy snorts a megadose of Clonazepam just as Jake texts her not to come downstairs, as Chucky has a bomb. She doesn't see the message, and with bleary-eyes walks halfway down the stairs. She freezes when she sees Chucky, and screams. Devon is able to tase Chucky before he detonates the bomb, causing him to drop it. Gary picks up the bomb and brings it into the dining room, and Chucky follows suit to detonate the bomb, killing both himself and Gary instantly.

At Dr. Mixter's office, the District Attorney admonishes Lexy, Devon, and Jake for building a homemade bomb that killed Gary and tells the trio that they will be sent to a juvenile detention center for violent offenders. However, at Dr. Mixter's insistence, the trio are sent instead to a Catholic reformatory school to "think on their sins" and hopefully cure them of their troubled behavior. Once inside, she meets her new roommate Nadine, who immediately takes a liking to her. Nadine comments on how she's never been friends with someone so pretty before. Lexy retorts that they aren't going to be friends as she doesn't need any more friends, and doesn't plan on staying long. When Nadine walks away, Lexy reveals that she had snuck in her bottle of Clonazepam, and takes a pill. While walking down the hall with Nadine, she spots a boy named Trevor, who used to bully her when they were younger. He apologizes for his actions and tells her he plans on "making things right" between them. Later that day, she, Jake and Devon realize Chucky has followed them to Incarnate Lord and killed Sister Elizabeth. Lexy suggests they run away from the school, but Jake remarks that they have to stop Chucky once and for all, before he kills again.

That night, Lexy and Nadine are getting ready for bed. Lexy is frustrated that the door to their room has no lock, so she pushes their dresser in front of the door to block the entrance. As Nadine sleeps, Lexy crushes her Clonazepam with her electric toothbrush, unaware that Chucky is under Nadine's bed. Just as she snorts it, she hears a creak as Chucky tries to move the dresser out of the way of the door. She screams, causing Nadine to wake up and scream at the sight of Chucky. The doll quickly escapes, leaving Lexy to warn Nadine not to say anything just as Sister Ruth and the other students burst into their room. Lexy lies and says she was scared of the bathroom, using a codeword to alert Jake and Devon that Chucky is nearby.

The next day, she and Nadine meet with Jake and Devon, who reveal they have captured Chucky. They intend on finding out what this Chucky is hiding, as they believe he is gathering information on them. After three days they are still unsuccessful. As Jake and Devon try threatening him with a knife, Lexy begins having a panic attack but decides against taking one at the moment. She waits until after class, and takes a pill at the water fountain. However, she is caught by Trevor, who reminds her that students are forbidden to keep their own medication. She quickly walks away but follows her, remarking that he saw her mother Michelle's name on the bottle, and reveals that Michelle just lost her re-election for mayor. Before she walks up the stairs, he warns her she should be more careful with her drugs as if someone caught her using she would be stuck at this school until she turned 18, just like him.

Lexy, Jake, and Devon are officially made legal wards of Miss Fairchild. However, she has not stopped her search for her sister Caroline, and begins posting videos on TikTok asking for help. When Tiffany is arrested for crimes committed by "Jennifer Tilly", the trio are called in as witnesses. Lexy decides to visit Tiffany in prison a month before the trial begins, to question her on where Caroline is as she was the last person to see her. She explains that Chucky took her, revealing that there was one more Chucky left other than the one Lexy chainsawed. During Tiffany's trial in June, Lexy is called to the stand and details how Tiffany is deranged and that she kidnapped her sister Caroline. The trio return to the courtroom to hear Tiffany's guilty verdict, giving each other hugs.

Although their troubles with Tiffany are over, the trio are still searching for the last Chucky that took Caroline. By October, Lexy has begun posting thirst trap videos twice a day on TikTok, and has amassed a large following. She has done this in order to get attention on her plight to find her sister, showing her viewers the most recent photograph of Caroline. Before ending the video, she tells Caroline that if she is watching, she loves her and is going to find her, and warns her to be very careful with Chucky. The following morning, Lexy, Devon, and Jake receive texts from an unknown number. The text to Lexy asks if she is still looking for Caroline, as this mystery person can help. As the three question if Chucky is back, Jake gets a call from an untraceable number, proving their theory correct as it is Chucky. When Jake demands to know where Chucky is, he taunts that he is more of a "Hide-and-Seek kind of a guy", but gives them a hint that his new place is "pretty strict about visitors".

Later that day, Miss Fairchild has the three of them take an assessment exam to see where they are education-wise, as they had missed quite a bit of schooling. Before they begin the test, Devon questions if they should tell her that Chucky has returned. Jake believes it's too dangerous, as the least they can do is protect her. After they finish the exams, they continue their discussion about Chucky in the living room as Miss Fairchild grades them. Their only clue to Chucky's location is the phone call, which as Devon learned could only be made untraceable by either the CIA or the Pentagon. They then turn their attention to the television, which is airing the news of a Secret Service agent who recently committed suicide. They see a Good Guy doll being carried by the President's son Henry, and come to the conclusion that they must somehow travel to Washington and gain access to the White House, in order to find Caroline and kill Chucky once and for all. Lexy realizes that their in to the White House may be with the President's teenage son Grant, who is active on TikTok. Just then, Miss Fairchild comes back into the living room, having also discovered that Chucky is in the White House. She refuses to let them go after him as it is too dangerous. They explain to her that they feel responsible for allowing Chucky to get away twice, and that they have to stop him from killing more innocent people. Relenting, Miss Fairchild agrees to let them go, but she is coming with them.

The trio decide to connect with Grant through Lexy's TikTok account. After some research, Devon learns that Grant follows a lot of accounts dedicated to conspiracy theories and grief. Jake believes the best way to get Grant's attention is to connect with him over his feelings of losing his brother Joseph, who died the previous winter. As Devon films, Lexy makes her video directly addressing Grant and asks for his help in finding her sister Caroline. The video reaches him, and he begins texting Lexy. When she asks to meet him in person with her friends, he agrees to meet them in a coffee shop the next day.

Miss Fairchild drives Lexy, Jake, and Devon to D.C. and to Balzac's Coffee Shop where they are meeting Grant. They share small talk over smoothies, and Grant attempts to take a photo with her. At first she doesn't want to, but after a stern look from Jake and Devon, she allows him to take a selfie with her. Devon and Jake leave to go to the bathroom so Lexy can be alone with him. After briefly flirting with each other, Lexy asks to see him again, so he invites her and her friends to the upcoming Halloween Gala at the White House.

As Grant's mother Charlotte is unsure about inviting the trio, Miss Fairchild drives to the White House to meet with her and insure they will still go to the party. While the three are in the hotel room waiting for her to return, they discuss what their options are to find Chucky and get him to reveal where Caroline is. As they cannot bring knives into the White House, Jake recommends they integrate weapons into their costumes. Devon believes Chucky will be hiding upstairs in the Executive Residence, so they need Grant to invite them up. As long as Lexy keeps Grant distracted, Jake and Devon can go look for Chucky. They continue working on their plans into the evening, but Jake is concerned as Miss Fairchild still has not come back. Just then, Jake gets a FaceTime call from Miss Fairchild's phone, but is shocked as Chucky is the one making the call. He taunts them over killing their legal guardian, and remarks that he is waiting for the three of them at what promises to be their bloodiest Halloween yet.
