Model Health System (formerly Model Hospital) is a digital information service designed to help NHS providers improve their productivity and efficiency. GIRFT is working in partnership with the Model Health System team to include GIRFT metrics on the portal, providing valuable insight to helps trusts improve their performance.
The Model Hospital is structured around six ‘lenses’ (Board-Level oversight, Clinical Service Lines, Corporate Services, Care Settings, Clinical Support Services and People). Each lens contains a number of ‘compartments’ covering a specific area, for example, estates or nursing.
