He immediately assumed ownership of Jimmy Dodson Farms, located in Nueces County, Texas and consisting of 9,500 acres of cotton and milo. He is also the president of Dodson Farms, Inc. and Dodson Ag, Inc., and is employed by Pioneer Hi-Bred, International Sales Agency.
Mr. Dodson has spent many years serving the agricultural industry through his leadership in many different organizations. In the past, he served as chairman of the Cotton Foundation, as director and past chairman of Texas AgFinance, F.C.S., and as a trustee of the Nueces River Authority.
