I spent a ton of time learning to parry well in DSR (before eventually abandoning it for dodge), and then again in Sekiro. Parrying doesn't feel as clean in this game. Yeah, yeah, git gud and all that, but I think the animations just don't line up. I've switched to just sidestepping and dodging instead.
