The Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (Russian: Российский государственный университет нефти и газа имени И. М. Губкина) is a public university in Moscow, Russia. The university was founded in 1930 and is named after the geologist Ivan Gubkin.
Gubkin University is the leading institution in the system of higher oil and gas education in Russia and worldwide. The University offers training in 32 Bachelor’s, 10 Specialist’s, 77 Master’s and 43 Doctoral degree programs, as well as professional development programs in a wide range of industry areas.
