Oct 17, 2015 · Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt, born in 1960, philosopher of education, playwright, novelist, prolific director, is a well-known cultural figure in Europe — a transalpine mover of the culture.
According to Schmitt, however, it was philosophy that saved him and taught him to be himself and to feel that he was free.
