Dexter Romweber. John Michael Dexter "Dex" Romweber (June 18, 1966 – February 16, 2024) was an American rockabilly and roots rock musician (primarily playing electric guitar) from Carrboro, North Carolina. [1] Dex was best known as one-half of the seminal two-piece Flat Duo Jets. [2]

Dex was a Brown Rat who portrayed Ron Weasley's pet, Scabbers (actually Peter Pettigrew in Animagus form), in the first three Harry Potter films.
