   • Booktubers are a growing genre, I only follow Daniel Green and Merphy Napier. Videogame YouTubers might have started the whole thing with stuff like Angry Video Game Nerd, and then there was movie/anime reviews. Actual general book reviewers are kind of rare. Like there are specific super fans of like Lord of the Rings Lore or Star Wars books.

   • In fact, I uploaded my very first video to my channel over 13 years ago! In recent years I use my YouTube mainly to post book reviews for the books I've read. One of the reasons I love video as a medium for sharing my reviews, and discussing topics, is that it gives a more personal feel for both the content and the person creating it.
