According to a 2008 article in CGS’ “The Caller” magazine, in the 1950’s, Catlin-Hillside and the Gabel Country Day School were in a poor financial situation due to the Second World War. In order to get on a better financial footing, the Catlin-Hillside school decided to have a rummage sale.
