Carson Shaw is a main character in the Amazon Prime Video television series, A League of Their Own. She is portrayed by Abbi Jacobson.

Prior to the league, Carson lived in Idaho with her husband, Charlie. She mentions to Greta in Batter Up that she's "always loved baseball more than anything", but was unsure if she was going to come to the try-outs when she was first scouted, because she had a lot of responsibilities at home. Despite this, she catches a train to Chicago and meets Greta Gill and Jo DeLuca trying to find her way to the AAGPBL try-outs, held in Baker field. All three of them go on to make the Rockford Peaches, one of the 4 original teams of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League.

Carson, along with her teammates struggled with their coach Casey "Dove" Porter, a former Cubs pitcher. She acted as the team's leader after realising that Dove wasn't taking their practices seriously enough, suggesting that they didn't even need him to train and organising night practices for the team. When Dove quit to coach the Orioles, Carson was appointed - along with Lupe - to coach the Peaches together. Carson and Lupe had been having disagreements previously over Lupe trusting Dove and Carson going behind his back, and they were often seen at odds with each other throughout most of the series. However, towards the end of the season they manage to resolve their past conflicts and step up to support each other as teammates, though Lupe is removed as co-coach after the fight in Switch Hitter.

•Carson is the team's catcher, along with Ana Blair. Her number is 10.

•Despite not being from a farm, it is a running joke throughout the series that Carson is from a farm. It is mentioned in every episode except 5 and 7.

•Carson's mother left when she was 10. This is mentioned in the third episode, The Cut Off.

•Back in Idaho, she was part of a choir. It's mentioned in episode one, while Carson is talking with Emily and her husband John.

•Emily also tells her to not forget to bring the pie to choir practice, since it’s her turn. She never does. It is revealed in Find The Gap, during Greta's brief conversation with Carson's sister, Meg, that she had to make the pie.

•During her phone call with Meg in Find The Gap, she mentions in reference to Carson not having children that "most people do within 7 years". This implies that Carson and Charlie have either been together or have been married for 7 years.
