Of course, the first Fire-type Pokemon you'll come into contact with is Scorbunny, which can be chosen as one of your three starter optionsat the very beginning of the game. Should you choose Scorbunny, you'll find it evolves into Rabboot at level 16. That Rabboot will then evolve into Cinderace, its final form, at level 35.
One of the most popular and beloved Fire-types comes all the way from the Kanto region. Vulpix is available to players of both Sword and Shield, but it's much more prevalent in Sword. It can be found in Swordon Route 3, Axew's Eye, Dappled Grove, East Lake Axewell, Giant's Seat, North Lake Miloch, Rolling Fields, South Lake Miloch, Watchtower Ruins...
The reverse of much of Vulpix's location data is true for Growlithe, which is much more prevalent in Shield than it is in Sword. They're not quite version exclusives, but they're pretty close. Like Vulpix, though, you can evolve Growlithe into Arcaninewith the use of a Fire Stone.
One of the new and very popular Fire-types is the Sizzlipede line. Sizzlipede itself can be caught in a couple of places: Route 3, or in the Motostoke Gym. You'd probably be better off trying to find one in a Max Raid battle. RELATED:Pokémon Sword & Shield: Ranking Every Rival In The Game (Including The Isle Of Armor) To evolve it into Centiskorch,...
One of Eevee's many evolutionary relatives is of the Fire-type, and it's Flareon. To evolve an Eevee into Flareon, simply expose it to a Fire Stone. But you also have a pretty good chance of finding one wandering around in the Lake of Outrage during intense sun.
A fantastic-looking and powerful Fire-type comes in the form of Salazzle, which is also Poison-type for an interesting combination. However, there's a catch to this Pokemon: only female Salandit can evolve into Salazzle, and they're the minority of all Salandit, which are mostly male. To find one, head to the Stony Wilderness or Challenge Road on t...
Rolycoly, Carkol, and Coalossal make up a powerful new evolutionary family in Galar. However, only Carkol and Coalossal are Rock/Fire-types, with Rolycoly only being Rock-type. Route 3, Galar Mine, Giant's Cap, and the Motostoke Riverbank are all places that Rolycoly can be found. Evolve it at level 18 and then again at level 34. Carkol can also be...
Another very interesting type combination comes from the Fire/Ghost-type line of Litwick, Lampent, and Chandelure, three Unova Pokemon based on candles and chandeliers. RELATED: Isle Of Armor: 10 Returning Pokémon We're Excited to See Look for Litwick in Bridge Field or the Motostoke Riverbank. Like some of the other Pokemon on this list, though, y...
If you've been roaming around Giant's Cap or the Motostoke Riverbank and seen little tufts of smoke rising above the grass, that's probably a Torkoal. They can also be found in the Warm-Up Tunnel and Potbottom Desert on the Isle of Armor, or on Route 6 on the Galar mainland and the Wild Area's Giant's Mirror as a random encounter.
Another single-stage Pokemon that made its way to Galar is Heatmor, the sworn enemy of the Steel/Bug-type Durant. If you're looking to pick one up for yourself, head to Route 6, the Giant's Mirror, or the Lake of Outrage — all of the places it can be found.
