In “The Book of the Apocalypse: Chapter One: The Alpha,” viewers are given a glimpse of Peter Gambi’s computer, revealing that the fictional city is in Georgia.
According to Moviemaps, the alley where Black Lightning resurrects in the first episode is located south of Cone, east of Walton streets in downtown Atlanta. Some church scenes of the Netflix series Sweet Magnolias set in Serenity, SC, were also shot in Decatur.
